startAD and VentureSouq are committed to creating an impact in the investor space. Starting with Angel Rising, launched in 2016, an investor symposium that has grown to be a leading voice demystifying the startup investing landscape and ultimately inspiring more stakeholders to fuel greater innovation in the GCC and beyond.
Additionally, in 2020, startAD and VentureSouq launched the Conscious Investor Fellowship (CIF). The first of its kind, pan-regional investor program focused on the impact space by upskilling regional investors with the necessary knowledge and application to craft their own impact investment strategy.
Fellows also became a part of the 7th Annual Angel Rising Investor Education Symposium, which took place in March 2022. Angel Rising has grown to be a leading voice demystifying the startup investing landscape, and ultimately inspiring more stakeholders to fuel greater innovation in the GCC and beyond.
Next year, the Angel Rising symposium will return, shifting its focus on the 2023 UN Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC) COP 28 being hosted in the UAE next year. startAD investor programs and Angel Rising will explore the themes of Climate Tech
