Ma'an Social Incubator

Twice a year, MSI will incubate the most promising startups and provide them with the training, resources, and opportunities to grow and make an impact.

The selected teams will be offered learning and development, mentorship and coaching, as well as networking and funding opportunities. It’s a unique chance for entrepreneurs to develop their innovative ideas for social impact into a sustainable social enterprise.

Youth for Climate Action

Climate change is one of the most pressing issues facing our planet.

Urgent action can prevent the negative impacts of global warming.

In this regard, youth action for climate change has become increasingly prominent with the youth taking tangible action on the urgent issue of climate change.

That’s where the Ma’an Social Incubator comes into the scene.

The Ma’an Social Incubator (MSI) – Cohort 8 is set to ensure everyone in the UAE has access to safe and greener sustainable communities. If you’re an impact maker, then this is the right place for you.

About the Current Challenge – Youth for Climate Action

This year, MSI focuses on Youth for Climate Action aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goal 13 – ‘Climate Change’.

By 2050, the UAE is set on a mission ‘UAE Net Zero’, a national drive to achieve net zero emissions, making the Emirates the first nation in MENA to do so. Similarly, COP28 taking place in the UAE this year reemphasizes this commitment.

Who can apply?

Entrepreneurs based in the UAE working on innovative and scalable solutions to address climate change
A founding team with 2+ members, with at least one member between the ages of 18-35
Startups that have validated the business model and secured early traction, either through partnerships or customers
