An inspirational figure and the first Emirati Aerospace Engineer, specializes in Air Accidents Prevention and Safety Recommendations, managing safety recommendations in the aviation accident investigation sector. She is also a passionate advocate for STEM, Sustainable Aviation, and women empowerment, using her expertise and impactful speaking engagements to raise awareness and inspire young individuals, especially girls, about the opportunities in the aviation industry.

As an innovative engineer specializing in airport X-ray device maintenance in the Emirates, her leadership has driven transformative initiatives, including the integration of AI into maintenance processes, enabling proactive detection and resolution of potential failures, thereby reducing machine downtime and enhancing the reliability and safety of airport operations. In addition, she has made groundbreaking contributions to the UAE Boxing Federation, becoming the first Emirati woman to secure a position and leading UAE teams in international events, inspiring others to pursue their goals in traditionally male-dominated fields.

A visionary educational leader with over 20 years of experience in pioneering initiatives and empowering educators. Her groundbreaking work includes spearheading the development of a comprehensive educator’s competency-based framework, integrating innovative solutions at the Abu Dhabi School of Government, and establishing Abu Dhabi’s first master’s program in Cybersecurity and Information Networks.

A proud 20-year-old Emirati inventor, and founder of Guideway, a platform for youth to connect with opportunities offered by the government. She is the youngest member of the board of directors at the Emirates Science Club, where more than 500 students trained them on technical skills and sciences, translating ideas into award-winning prototypes. She is also the youngest Emirati to receive Mother Teresa Award for social justice.

Dr. Muna Alayyan joined the Ministry of Health and Prevention in 2014 as a breast surgeon and initiated the first breast clinic in the Northern Emirates and at the level of MOHAP. Her center was the first to introduce artificial intelligence for reading mammogram films in the Middle East. She was awarded the medal of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashed for the best physician in the 2022 in the Mohammed bin Rashed in Government Excellence Award.

The story of her company begins with the love of a mother, for her son, who suffered from eczema. When none of the regular creams from the store worked to ease her son’s discomfort, she started using my knowledge as a pharmacist and decided to create my own solution. The goal was clear, to make skincare products that are safe, gentle, and effective by using the healing powers of nature. Her product secured a patent and earned the Healthcare Award for Technology Innovation Pioneers in the UAE.

Throughout her academic and research career at Mohammed Bin Zayed University of Humanities, I have focused on merging artificial intelligence with linguistics to develop the ‘Linguistic Genome Theory’, an innovative approach aimed at understanding the evolution and future of language. Her contributions have been internationally recognized with several awards, including the ‘Best International Innovation Award’ at the E-NNOVATE Summit in Poland in 2024, highlighting the quality and significance of my research. These innovations not only advance the academic and research field but also enhance cultural and linguistic understanding and provide technological solutions that support educational objectives.

H.E. Nawal Alhanaee is a recognized visionary in the energy sector, known for her decisive leadership and dedication to sustainable energy projects. Among her notable achievements are leading the National Hydrogen Strategies and the National SAF policy in 2023. Her work has not only advanced UAE’s energy policies but has also been integral in positioning the nation at the forefront of global energy discussions. She has experience and contributions in making strategic plans and studies for the improvement of public and customer services, managing big projects and environmental protection, as she is one of the core team in Fujairah 2040 master plan.

In recognition of her efforts and impact, H.E. Alhanaee was awarded the First-Class Order of Zayed II by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan for her significant role in the UAE’s COP28 negotiating team. Additionally, her influence and leadership have earned her a place in the SolarQuarter Middle East Power100, further solidifying her stature as a key figure in the energy industry.

Founder & CEO, Bedashing Holding Company, Board Member, Abu Dhabi Business Women Council Noor Al Tamimi is the Founder and CEO of one of the UAE’s most successful brand Bedashing Holding Company which went public December 2021 under Multiply Group. Leading the company from Concept to Franchise and finally to IPO, Noor has revolutionized the beauty services industry with her creativity and patented inventions that positioned the brand on the top beauty players of the GCC. Noor also is the founder of Shelex, supporting companies in the fields of education, fashion, technology and modern marketing, assisting with everything from financial advisory and growth, to strategic planning and expansion.

With over a decade of experience in business applications and a focus on integrating Artificial Intelligence, she has excelled as Head of Business Applications at the Health Authority and played a key role at the Department of Health. Her expertise extends to founding NEXBA Healthcare Supplies LLC, which specializes in innovative Green Nano Technology products for health safety.

She has championed inclusivity and sustainability in art and education. Notably, she led the creation of inclusive children’s guides and tactile replicas for the ‘On Foraging’ Exhibition at 421, enhancing accessibility for visually impaired individuals. Her work integrates traditional Emirati materials into contemporary art, showcasing the UAE’s cultural and ecological heritage. Recognized with awards such as the NYU Founders’ Day Award and the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award, she continues to promote cultural heritage and innovation through her double BA from NYU Abu Dhabi and her ongoing MFA at the Royal College of Art in London.

Through her work with international organizations like the World Economic Forum, she has played a pivotal role in advancing government initiatives, including the groundbreaking Circular Economy project in the UAE. Her collaboration helped establish the National Committee on Circular Economy and led to the approval of the UAE’s first comprehensive national policy on circular economy in 2020. This strategic framework has catalyzed over 20 active projects across various sectors, promoting recycling, reducing waste, and optimizing resource use.

As the first and youngest president of the Children’s Advisory Council, she played a key role in introducing the Emirati Children’s Parliament. By the age of 12, she had already participated in over eight official delegations and earned the prestigious Abu Dhabi Award. As the spokesperson for the Supreme Council of Motherhood and Childhood’s Bullying Prevention Award in Schools, she further demonstrated her commitment to youth advocacy. She also represented Emirati young women at the Arab Girls Summit in Jordan, Amman, and won the presidency of the Children’s Rights Committee at the Emirati Children’s Parliament.

As the founder and vice-chairperson of her organization’s Women’s Council, she has been a driving force in promoting gender equality and empowering women in the workplace. Her leadership in corporate social responsibility (CSR) led to international recognition, including the International CSR Excellence Award and the Green World Ambassadors award. She has excelled in creating and leading initiatives that foster a culture of volunteerism and sustainability across her organization. Her ability to blend technology with leadership has set a new standard for organizational success.

Dr. Sara Ishaq Alkhoori is a distinguished Emirati scientist and award-winning researcher with a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering. Known for her pioneering work in transforming renewable resources into eco-friendly biofuels, she earned the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Middle East Regional Young Talents award in 2023. As the first Emirati materials scientist to utilize synchrotron facilities, she has significantly advanced the UAE’s scientific community, all while balancing her roles as a mother and mentor to future STEM leaders.

Inspired by the UAE’s fusion of tradition and innovation, she founded Madr Design Studio in 2020, blending contemporary design with Emirati architectural heritage. Her work, recognized in prestigious forums like La Biennale di Venezia, reflects her commitment to pushing boundaries and empowering women in the architectural field.

A strategic leader and award-winning director, she has a proven track record of driving exceptional results in elevating Dubai’s tourism and retail events industry. She is recognized for her expertise in creating and executing high-profile festivals and campaigns across both government and private sectors.

Tahany Taher serves as a senior vice president at CitiBank and is also the founder of HAYAWIIA (derived from the Arabic term for health, vitality and vigour), a premium destination for food and natural beauty care range, designed to cater to a healthy lifestyle.

Tala Al Ramahi is a Director at the Office of Development Affairs at the Presidential Court of Abu Dhabi. Al
Ramahi plays a lead role in shaping the strategy for the Presidential Court’s global health philanthropy, and disability & inclusion portfolios. She also serves as Chief Strategy Officer for Reaching the Last Mile, a portfolio of global health programs and investments working to reduce the burden of preventable diseases and promote resilient and inclusive health systems. Previously, she served as Chief Strategy Officer of the Special Olympics World Games 2019. In this role, she led strategy and legacy for the Games, fast tracking and creating an enabling environment for the inclusion agenda of people with disabilities within the UAE as well as globally.
